More than 1500 dancers have registered for this year’s Jakarta Dance Carnival which will be held tomorrow at the Jakarta Arts Center, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM). The target of more than 1000 dancers at first, apparently exceeded the quota, in the course of selection of dance groups who registered to be involved in Carnaval. Groups that have made preparations include: Animal Pop Family, IKJ Dance Student Association, Citra Art Studio, Limpapeh Dance Studio, Warta Bali, Daya Presta Betawi, Autistic Children Dancer Group, and others.
At 10 am, there will be a photo exhibition in the lobby of the Grand Theater, the work of senior photographers: Arbaim Rambe, Fendi Siregar, Tian Reffina, Zulfikar Albar, Basilica, M. Faiz Rizqi, Fabianus Koesoedinata (stage photographer), Annisa Dai, Manjushaka Kausalya. Young photographer. Muamar Khalid, Jeremy Jay, Bimo Suwarno, Indyana Putra, Ragil Ticilius.
From 10:00 to 14:00, the children’s stage at the Kecìl Theatre is filled with 40 dance communities.
13.00-15.00, sharing room, about dance makeup tutorials, for teenagers and adults, artistic learning of makeup, children’s stage, performances that adapt for children.

At 15.30, the dance carnival starts from Jalan Raya Cikini and spreads to 10 points in the Taman Ismail Marzuki area, the concept of the event invites the audience to travel in the TIM area which is ended by Animal Pop Family.
In the courtyard area of the Jakarta Theater, a dance performance by Melly Zamri and Vicky Burky entitled Dance With Me Zone, dancing and dialogue. Starting from 17.00 to 18.00 WIB, this show engages the audience with the interaction of word dialogue and motion.
At 18.30 the procession goes to the evening stage, at the Ampli Theater, the procession by the Swargaloka dance studio dances Banyuwangi and Rohim with his solo dance which will introduce the IDCOMM board and the JDC committee.
Performances by 36 communities, ranging from Salsa, Belly Dance, Tradition, Contemporary, Modern Pop, Blind Studio and Film Dance at TIM plaza, starting at 18.00 WIB.
Also filled with a Bazaar of 16 tents.
Each JDC participant received a certificate from the JDC committee and publications for each group in the form of flyers and community business cards.
