Completing the creation of the world’s largest Quran took 3 years. Saad Mohammed had another busy life after being expelled from school. The Egyptian man chose to become a self-taught artist.
North of Cairo, in the Egyptian city of Belqina, the 700-meter-long Quran is housed in a giant wooden box with rollers at each end.
Saad Mohamd’s latest work was self-funded by Saad Mohammed, and Saad hopes it can be listed in the Guinness World Record and hopefully the government can fund the world’s largest registration of the Quran.
Saad is an artist who likes to paint, he once painted the walls of his own house with Islamic motifs.
It is possible that he can break the world record by making the world’s largest handwritten Quran.
Guinness World Records itself has recorded the existence of the largest printed Quran in the world, which is a holy book measuring 152 × 200 cm with 632 pages and weighing 552kg.
But there is no handwritten version of the Quran in the world, as Saad Mohammed did
