Kacimuih Typical West Sumatran Cake and How to Make It

Kacimuih is made from cassava mixed with grated coconut and sprinkled with sugar on top. Uniquely, this kacimuih has two choices of sugar sprinkles, namely white sugar and brown sugar, all of which can be chosen according to taste.

About the taste, kacimuih has a combination of savory cassava and grated coconut combined with the sweetness of sugar. The sensation of enjoying the texture of krenyes-krenyes when in our mouths makes the pleasure of this one cake feel so pleasant.

Ingredients:
1 cassava that has been shredded
coconut to taste brown
sugar or granulated sugar as a sprinkling
Vanilla 1/4 tsp banana
leaves for the
base and salt to taste

How to Make :
first shredded cassava
prepare a steamer filled with boiling water
put sweet potatoes that have been mixed with salt and vanilla, cook until cooked for about 20 minutes
remove then sprinkle coconut and sugar

Ready to be served on a plate based on banana leaves with a glass of warm tea will feel more delicious
