Awards in the field of tourism that have been received by West Sumatra (West Sumatra) have caused perceptions and expectations from tourists so that the quality of tourism services continues to improve.
Therefore, the West Sumatra Provincial Government will increase training and coaching activities for tourism actors to strengthen the quality of service in various tourist destinations in the local area. This was conveyed by the Head of the West Sumatra Tourism Office Uni Yulfian, in Padang, Thursday (01/05/2017) as reported by Antarasumbar.
Uni Yulfian said that training and coaching activities for tourism business actors start from coaching apparatus, service providers, tourism-related products and the community to be able to follow the rules of halal tourism.
“Tourists expect tourism products (goods and services) that they will receive when traveling in West Sumatra in accordance with these halal rules,” he said.
Thus it can increase the number of local and foreign tourist visits to West Sumatra. In terms of promotion, it will focus on potential markets and segments, both for local and foreign tourist markets.
